Good weight. As a reloader, I had tested my charges with a S&W N-frame, but the solid construction of EAA offers me an alternative -- test and shoot with the same gun. No problem holding to a 1-1/4 inch circle at 25-yards; the fixed sights are right on! My family enjoy shooting a Colt SAA, and the model #2853 will be a constant carry to the range.
